We on an ordinary basis do a shrimp boil as a minimum every year. We had a 30 qt pot that was once almost overflowing, so I notion a brand new pot was once so as. This thing is big. We did our customary boil for 20 people and the pot used to be barely over half full. Plenty of room for our tailgate to develop.
Pot is heavy accountability and will remaining a life time. Very well made. In retrospect, I almost certainly must have offered the forty Qt (as the spouse continuously reminds me). Was the debate of the tailgate. Now just have to figure out the place I'll store it ....

Had been in search of a pot with a strainer and am very happy with this one. Big enough for the job and it will get it performed! Use it for clams, corn, lobster... no matter. Nice and light-weight and "stocky" sufficient to not tip over simply. Strongly counsel it for the cost.

I've search round and this dimension pot made more due to the fact for reasonable family outdoor cooking. I've done a lobster in it too, and it came out great.
